It represents the importance of earth in the traditional religion of Akan. It’s a symbol of power and divinity.

DUAFE - (Depicts Wooden comb).
Akan women used wooden combs to plaid there hair. Duafe is a symbol of femininity, beauty and care.

GYE NYAME – (Nothing but God).
People should not fear anything except God. Its a symbol of the Supremacy of God and it expresses the deep faith of the Akan people for God.

NYAME DUA - (Tree of God).
It’s the sacred altar where the Akans perform there rituals. It symbolizes Gods presence and Protection.
