LATE VICTORIAN

SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATED

SILVER FERRULED

FISH/CAKE SERVERS

A late Victorian Sheffield silver plated pair of silver ferruled fish or cake servers sporting good ox bone handles and super bright cut engraved decoration.

The ferrules were assayed in Sheffield in 1898.

They are in good condition for their age, structurally robust and without fault but there is a smear of silver plate loss to the business end of the scimitar blade (to both sides) as shown and to the fork there is a large freckle to the fork head and resting wear to the reverse of same. The handles are beautiful and without fault.

Display well.
