This is an Original Rosenthal Ceramic Paper vase.

This is Wirkkala’s fun and whimsical 1977 Pop Art take on tromp l’oeil, something that is not what it appears to be. Here, a used paper bag is actually a porcelain vase.

This is a Kraft paper brown vase with a serrated top edge. Perennially popular and reintroduced on the occasion of Wirkkala’s one hundredth birthday, this piece is vintage production marked Rosenthal Germany to its underside (without acknowledgement to Wirkkala, unlike the later editions by Rosenthal).
