Delivery

For home delivery, we use DHL, Royal Mail and DX freight for the majority of our domestic parcel deliveries. All of our delivery partners are established, reliable and have an excellent reputation.

Most orders are dispatched the same, or within, 1 working day - and arrive in between 1-3 working days.

If your order is placed before 2pm (Monday to Friday), the item/s will be dispatched the same day and delivered within 2 working days (for some out of areas postcodes, deliveries might take slightly longer).

PLEASE NOTE: All deliveries are made by courier and will require a signature. The courier will try and deliver the item twice before returning the item to us. Please ensure someone is present to sign for the item. Should the item be returned to us we will have to charge for re-delivery.

We run an automated ordering system so, please ensure your correct shipping address is selected on the eBay checkout as we can only send to the address that comes through. This is an eBay policy.

For orders cancelled after dispatch, you must follow our returns procedure. You are responsible for both the outgoing and return postage costs.

Orders Delayed/Missing in Transit

We promise we'll do everything we can to ensure you receive your order within the time frame specified. Occasionally events beyond our control may result in your parcel being delayed whilst it is with the courier and we cannot be held responsible for such delays.

All parcels are fully insured and if your parcel is lost or delayed, let us know and we'll act quickly to locate it, bearing in mind the points below. All claims for missing items must be made within 14 days of the date of your order.

Express Services

Orders generally leave the same day when ordered before 2pm, excluding weekends.

We are very pleased to announce that the vast majority of orders will be delivered by either Royal Mail, DX or DHL. All of these couriers offer an excellent service and we are very pleased to have them on board. The courier chosen to deliver your parcel will depend on the size and weight of the goods you have purchased along with your location. As soon as your order has been dispatched we will email you with the details of the courier along with your tracking number.

What do I do if I have not received my delivery?

Please call us or send a message via eBay messages and we'll get back to you quickly with a response and tracking information.

How much does delivery cost and how long will it take?

Most of our listings have free delivery to UK mainland addresses (please see exclusion list for out of area zones) and use our standard 1-3 day delivery service. Please note that we do not dispatch orders on weekends.

What happens if I'm not at home to accept delivery?

If you are not available to sign for your delivery, the courier will leave a card to advise that delivery has been attempted. To re-arrange delivery or arrange to collect the parcel, please follow the instructions on the card.

What happens if the box looks damaged when it is being delivered?

Please open the parcel and check for any damage while the driver is there, they are contracted to wait a short amount of time. If it is damaged please refuse delivery and contact us. If the driver refuses to wait or it is not convenient to open when the driver is there, you must SIGN FOR AS DAMAGED, not unchecked. Claims cannot be made if not signed for as damaged.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

4x4 Accessories And Tyres have a 14 day returns policy. Please return your item(s) in original packaging and ensure that all packages are securely wrapped. You must include a copy of your delivery note in with your item(s), as this is the proof of purchase. Failure to do so will delay your refund.

The customer is responsible for all postage costs for products returned under our Returns Procedure unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance with the Customer Services Department.

4x4 Accessories And Tyres will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during transit, please ensure that the insurance cover option is taken where possible.

Upon receipt, all products will be inspected and at our discretion, credit may be refused.

Any damages must be reported to us within 24 hours for us to raise any claims with our courier. Any claims after 24 hours will be dismissed for a claim.

We are fully compliant with the Distance Selling regulations.

FITTING

Most items we sell can be fitted at home, but if you want to save yourself the stress and hassle, come and have it professionally fitted here! 4x4 Accessories and Tyres offer a fitting service on the majority of items we sell. We have 6 fully kitted out fitting bays, including a one bay, which specialises in fitting extremely large 4x4 wheels and tyres.

To allocate a time slot, fitting must be pre-booked with us directly in advance. Saturday fitting can get booked-up quickly , so please ensure you book early. While waiting, there is a comfortable seating area with snack vending machine, as well as free hot drinks. Just get in touch with us for more details, info and prices.

Please Note: We only fit parts at our premises and do NOT provide a mobile fitting service.
