Advantage :
It's a stick with the original design. For games like Golden Eye where
you must be precise, this stick is more adapted than the Gamecube style
stick.
Disadvantage :
This stick will wear out like original controllers in case of very
frequent use. The Gamecube style sticks don't have this disadvantage,
they don't become tired (you can find it in my shop).
Instructions :
Changing
the stick is easy. You open the controller, remove 3 screw to remove
the precedent stick and you put the new one at its place. That's all.
You don't have to solder anything.
Please be careful when closing back the controller to never force in order not to damage it, it should close smoothly. If it doesn't, you must look at what is bloking the closing.
