Photograph Notes: At first glance this post giving distances from Tindal Bridge close to the start of the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal appears to be an old canal artefact but it is of course quite modern. Quoting distances in metres might be more meaningful for today's schoolchildren but is hardly authentic.
