Mezzotint engraving in old plaster frame with a full-length portrait of Mrs. Waring standing on carpet on a terrace, next to pillars draped with curtain; directed to right, facing front; wearing a light dress and veil; holding a young child on pedestal of pillar; another child approaching from left, head turned towards front, carrying a basket of roses on her head; a dog to right; woodland beyond balustrade to left.
 
The very nice old plaster frame has intertwined vine and leaves with gold color finish.   
 
The portrait has been trimmed to only show the portrait. The portion of the original engraving with information about the print is attached to the back, and reads:
J. Russell R.A. / Engraved by C. Turner / London Pubd. Jany. 2. 1804, by C. Turner, No. 50, Warren Street, Fitzroy Sqe., as well as the title in fine script letters, with "and" in open letters.

CONDITION  
As mentioned above, the print was cut to remove the border and inscription. The inscription is taped to the back.
The print itself is in pretty good condition, with no stains or discolorations and the paper lays flat
Frame – The individual sections of the frame are separating such that there are gaps at each corner. The decorative plaster is missing for along a portion of the bottom edge, as well as some damage on three of the outside corners and one inside corner. (please see photo)
 
This is a lovely and authentic OLD mezzotint engraving in a wonderful old frame.
