purchasing from us – please read prior to purchase
Postage Charges & Information
Packaging:
If you have any specific postage/packaging
requirements, please contact us prior to purchase to arrange as
additional charges may occur. We take extreme care with our packaging. Examples
of how we package some of our items can be found on our Instagram.
Combined postage: We are happy to combine postage when buyers purchase
multiple items. The price of postage is based on the size, weight & value
of the parcel we will be sending. Please contact us for a quote prior to
purchase with the specific items you are interested in if you wish to know
charges before committing to buy.
In order for us to send you an invoice for combined postage you will be
required to:
* Place
items in your cart & if you're using a PC, please choose "Request
Total" (top right hand side of screen) and this will send the purchase
information to us so we can update the invoice
* If
using the App and can't see the request button, please either move to a PC or
use Buy It Now to purchase each item individually without making payment
In both
situations, please wait for your combined invoice with adjusted postage before
moving to the payment screen, otherwise eBay will simply multiply the postage
by the listings.
Postage refunds if over-charging occurs: Yes, we will refund
the difference in postage if you have been overquoted/overcharged or if you are
unable to navigate a combined postage request. Please note that postage charges
are often different to the price displayed on the postal label & can also
include the cost of signature on delivery, insurance & the price of any new
postage boxes that have been purchased (if these have been used).
Postage days: Our regular postage days are Monday/Wednesday/Friday for all items
purchased & paid for prior to 11am AEST on these days. These days differ on
weeks when public holidays occur. Occasionally the store is placed in ‘Time
Away Mode’ which means we are taking a short break & items are unable to be
purchased during this time, however a notification will be displayed notifying
buyers of the date we will return.
Postage Service: we use Australia Post for all of our postage
requirements.
Australian buyers: It is our policy that signature on delivery is required
on all combined or individual purchases totalling AU$100 or greater which is at
buyers’ expense. All items that fall under this value have signature on
delivery as an option. Express Post options are also available on all items
through checkout. If you require your parcel to be insured, please contact us
prior to payment so we can invoice you correctly. We do not offer pickup.
Please ensure that your postal address is correct while going through
checkout as we will only post to addresses displayed on eBay invoices as per
eBays policy. If an item is returned to us due to incorrect details displayed
by a buyer, re-posting will be at buyers expense.
International buyers: please contact us prior to purchase
for a quote on postage. Please email us with the specific items you are
interested in so we can send you an accurate quote. Do not press ‘Buy it now’
until you are aware of what postage charges to your country will be after contacting
us directly. Postage from Australia to overseas destinations can be expensive. All postage
costs quoted are for standard airmail which includes tracking, signature on
delivery & insurance. If you require an express service, please contact us
for a quote as additional charges will apply. We will not undervalue items
on customs declarations/shipping paperwork under any circumstance. If your item
is damaged in the mail & insurance needs to be claimed, you will need to
take your item including all packaging to your nearest post office for
evaluation & to begin the claims process.
International buyers please note: our postage quotes DO NOT cover any of
your import fees/duties/taxes. You may be eligible to pay additional fees when
your item arrives in your country. Please be aware of your own countries import
rules/limits prior to purchasing. eBay now requires some countries to pre-pay
taxes at checkout. This is automatically added by eBay & we have no control
over this. If you have pre-paid taxes through eBay & your item is held up
at customs in your country, please get in touch with eBay Customer Service as
we do not have any control over the taxes that eBay add.
Offers
Our prices are firm. We do not consider any offers on any items sent via
message/email & these will be declined. We occasionally have very few items
set to ‘Buy it Now or Best Offer’ & will only consider offers for these
items through the official eBay offer process. We do not offer discounts for
bulk purchases. We do not offer free or discounted shipping on items. Buyers
who send us rude messages about our pricing, inability to negotiate and/or
terms & conditions of sale will be blocked.
Feedback
We issue feedback to buyers once they have successfully received their
item & have let us know by leaving us positive feedback. Prior to leaving
us neutral or negative feedback, we ask buyers to please get in touch with us
so we can attempt to resolve any issues. Any buyers that leave us unwarranted
negative or neutral feedback will be blocked.
Non-paying buyers/late payments
If buyers have not paid for an item within eBay’s payment timeframe, an
unpaid item case will automatically be opened. We do not extend payment times
under any circumstance. Non-paying buyers will also be automatically blocked
from future purchases from us. Please do not commit to purchase if you cannot
make payment.
About us:
We are not a store but are selling from a huge deceased estate. This
store is being run by the owner’s daughter & wife on behalf of the estate.
The collection: due to the sheer
size & nature of the collection we are selling, we will not be taking ‘wish
lists’, look for specific items for people or put things aside for buyers as we
find them. Out of fairness to all buyers, all items will be sold on a ‘first in
best dressed’ system & no favourtism will be entered into. We understand
that collectors are extremely passionate about securing specific pieces for
their collections, but we wish to be fair to all. If an item has not yet become
available through our eBay store, it does not mean we do not have it. We still
have years of work ahead of us so our advice is to please be patient &
check back regularly.
