Inspired of the Israeli M15 and German M65 gas masks

Description:
Brand new, made in Bulgaria, PG - 1 Gas mask, stored for years in wooden boxes in military warehouse. Face piece, filter, hydrophobic
filter sock, anti-dazzle pencil, and canvas bag  with overarm strap and waist belt included in the set. The mask is treated with Talcum
powder, in order to preserve the rubber quality for prolonged storing. Masks and filters manufactured in the early '90s. The filters are
manufactured according to ex. USSR GOST standard. The screw connection is 40 mm and has 4 mm step of the thread. The "СХГ" Cyrillic marking
on the filters does not contain Asbestos and are safety for use. Ready to use after washing the Talcum powder with warm water, screw on the
filter and removing the rubber cap at the bottom of the filter. Ideal for Your Grind-core costume, garden chemical treatment, gas attack
defence, or whatever is on Your mind. Shipped in cardboard box with the selected postage service.

Size fitting measurement:
Distance between the beginning of the nose (between eyebrows) and the bottom of the chin (see the last photo).

History:
Gas mask PG-1 is used for Bulgarian civilian protection since 1980 year. The gas mask construction is similar to the Israeli M15, and it's
predecessor, the German M65 gas mask. A second generation PG-1 is still manufactured in Zebra factory in Bulgaria, but now it complies with

Notes on using hydrophobic filter sock:
The hydrophobic filter sock is used in raining, snowing, or dusty conditions. It is mounted over the filter with it's sewn side outwards.
Protects against ingress of water and large dust particles in the filter.

Notes on using Vaseline pencil:
In cold weather conditions, below 5 degrees Celsius, where condensation of the air humidity inside the
mask may occur on the glass eyepieces from inside, a film is applied on the inside of the eyepieces with the Vaseline pencil.
This prevents from sweating the eyepieces.
