ADTWin adapter, write Amiga disk from a PC

fully assembled and tested

This is a ADTWin adapter, it will connect PC floppy drives (or Amiga floppy drives) to PC parallel port. The disk contents must be Amiga Disk File (there are lot of ADFs with Amiga games & programs) or raw MFM file. Using ADTWin software you can copy a disk in around 40 seconds. It's not possible to read disks.

You need to connect the floppy drive to the parallel port, using a 34 pin flat floppy cable (NOT INCLUDED) and use a power supply (PC power supply can be used) to power the floppy.

I have some brand new floppy cables around 60cm lenght and also power adapters, see last pictures. Contact with me before buying if you need one.

The adapter is designed for the standard PC floppy cable that has a twist in the floppy side, see last picture. If you want to use it with a PIN to PIN cable without twist you need to cut some traces and add solder joints.

Before buying the item you should run ADTWin's test command: After starting ADTWin.exe and, if need be, selecting the desired LPT port, simply click the "Test" button. ADTWin will perform some hardware tests to figure out whether or not writing Amiga disks will probably be possible.

ADTWin does not require instalation, just download, unzip and copy, look here: ADTWin
