This is one of the most beautiful dolls I've seen. She is a black composition doll, most likely from the early 30s. She is right at 10.5 inches tall, has a twist waist and arms move at the shoulders. She has a very pretty and expressive face, molded curls at her forehead and stands independently. There is damage on her left foot (see photo), but she can still stand. There is a small chip of the composition on the top of her head. The unusual body style of twist waist and solid torso/head piece makes her unique and the molded and painted pink "shoes" just set off her look. The romper is primitive, but probably not original. She is unbranded, and the only mark on her back says "patent pending". She is the prettiest doll, and I just know she would make a perfect addition to your collection. See all photos for details.
