The Game
This is Microsoft's first golf simulation, and was touted as a true multimedia experience, back in 1993. The game had very high system requirements for its day: A full installation took over 90 megabytes of disk space. Considering most games were in the 1-5 MB range MS Golf was extreme.
Microsoft Golf Multimedia was the first game to bring Windows support for the popular Links series. It is a detailed simulation, even for its day, and allowed the player to enjoy the official PGA Torrey Pines Golf Course.
I've added the following early 90s Links courses to this package:
Bay Hill Club
Firestone Country
Bountiful Municipal
Note that Torrey Pines includes animated fly-bys and a tour while the others do not.
MS Golf includes many features one would expect of a true sports simulation, like practice ranges, aerial course previews (with terrain analysis) and hot-seat multiplayer.

Note: My compatibility CD does not alter the retail game or bypass copy protection. It allows the original media to install and run correctly on any recent version of Windows.
