Photograph Notes: The great Doric Arch at Euston station was demolished as part of redevelopment in the 1960s: for an image of the demolition, see [[2991033]]. The fragments were dumped in Prescott Channel in the Bow Back Rivers ([[18073]]). The new Euston station has never been loved by its users and further redevelopment has often been floated: as the demolition of the Arch has been seen from the time it took place as a colossal mistake, maybe the next incarnation of Euston will see the Arch reinstated.
