Interesting piece of vintage history. The length is 3" and the height is 1 1/2". This possibly could have went with more military pieces as a set. The letter S inside a circle is on the bottom which identifies it as a Signal.  Good conversation item. Could be used on your desk as a paper weight. Thanks for looking.
