Photograph Notes: The last remaining section of a listed cloister wall in the north-western corner of the Priory that stonemasons are currently attempting to repair. Also visible is a building that previously housed a later version of the Abbey School. It is now used by the Bassetlaw Community Voluntary Services organisation. In the C16th, when children were taught in the upper rooms of the Priory Gatehouse, this earlier version was described as "the first Elementary School in England". On the other side of the cloister wall is Priorswell Road.
