Abacus (Russian abacus) is a simple mechanical device (a counting board with bones) for performing arithmetic calculations, according to one version they come from the Chinese suanpan counting device, according to another they are of Russian origin.

They are a frame with a certain number of spokes; knuckles are strung on them, which are usually 10 pieces each. Accounts are one of the earliest computing devices and were widely used in trade and accounting until the end of the 20th century, until they were replaced by calculators. Very rarely used today, for example, in village and rural shops.
