An unusual antique 14k gold commemorative pin featuring a five-point star, laurel wreath, and gavel. Inscribed on pin bar "P.H. FISHER," on star front the letters "S M A B Y" encircling the date "1910," and on star back "For Good Service." Secures with "C"-clasp safety pin on bar back, fully functional. Measures approx. 2.25"l x 1.25"w, weighs approx. 10g/.3oz. In good antique condition, only displaying mild surface wear, such as light surface scratching/scuffing - see pictures. Stamped "14K" faintly on star, laurel, and bar backs. Composition of pin highly resembles that of the pins gifted to members of the Order of the Eastern Star, but does not have typical enamel coloring, "FATAL," or heroine emblems.
