Great American quality produced from 1939-1957 by Duncan and Miller in their pattern Canterbury, Clear. This small pedestal bowl (3 5/8" w x 3.5" h.) has so many uses. I have several, and I loved to use them when serving things like tacos for the guacamole or sour cream. It is perfect to nestle in the center of a large tray of vegetable for the dip. Wonderful for fruit dips on large fruit trays. This collection of heavy pressed glass is terrific for EVERYDAY. It has a lot of miles on it, and still looks great. Blends well with porcelain or fine china. Thick ground bases. The petal like flutes have an almost optic effect. The pieces may have a scratch, but no chips.
