Vintage Red, Natural & Blue Hand-woven Basket by Susan Peoples, Rome, GA

This very unique red, natural and blue basket was artfully crafted by Miss Susan Peoples, well- known basket maker in Rome, GA, in 1976. She hand printed her name with date 4-4-76. The bottom of the sturdy basket, which has a solid red wooden floor and is indented 2”, measures 14” x 5.50-6”. The basket gradually increases to a generous 17” x 8.50” at top. Depth on inside is 7.50”. Depth on outside is 9.50”. The basket is in excellent condition. The 7” handles have faded over time, but are as sturdy as ever. See pictures for artful design.
