renaissance revival Spanish style corbel face 8x8x10.

Renaissance Revival Spanish style corbel face.this is an old cast plaster face that was salvaged from an old lounge in downtown Los Angeles . It is believed to be at least 50 years old. This is one of many salvaged all of which contain a different face. The building was from 1920s and had beautiful wooden hewn beams across the ceiling and these faces were located at the end of each beam. They were done very very well in great detail went into making them to make them look original. At the first glance they appear to be carved wood but upon removal we learned they were cast faster. The owner of the building purchased a building approximately 30 to 40 years ago and said that they were in the building long before then. We were unable to find anything quite like it but did see some that were similar made of terra-cotta they came up out of Chicago and we’re original to the 20s. Either way these faces have a great Hollywood history and truly do you have a great look to them. This is one of over 25 different faces that were salvaged all of which are being sold separate. I am an able to disclose online the name of the famous lounge/bar/restaurant that they came out of but if you were to purchase and contact directly I can disclose the information just not publicly.
