In den Sechziger- und Siebzigerjahren zählten Faltenbälge an Telegabeln zum Standardrepertoire an vielen Motorrädern - von BSA über Honda bis Zündapp. Sie boten Schutz vor Staub und Straßenschmutz und nicht zuletzt eine klassische Optik. Heute sind Faltenbälge vor allem bei Old School- und Vintage-Umbauten, aber auch bei Cafe Racern und "Race Inspired"-Umbauten ein unverzichtbares Stilmerkmal. DOCK66 bietet Faltenbälge auch für Harley-Davidson® Modelle mit 39mm-Gabel an.
Die "Fork Gaiters" sind aus schwarzem, elastischen haltbarem NBR Nitrilgummi gefertigt und werden bei Bedarf mit Kabelbindern oder Edelstahl-Schlauchschellen an der Gabel befestigt. Das NBR Gummi sorgt für eine glatte glänzende Optik und ist leichter zu reinigen.
Geliefert wird ein Paar Faltenbälge inkl. Kabelbindern
Sie sind ca.170mm lang, der Durchmesser unten beträgt ca. 59mm, der obere ca. 39mm. Zusammengedrückt messen die Faltenbälge ca. 80mm.
Die "Bobber-Boots" passen bei Sportster Standard, sowie Dyna und FXR mit 39mm Gabeln. Für Sportster Low, Hugger, 48 Forty-Eight, Nighster und tiefergelegte Custombikes haben wir die kürzeren Gabel-Faltenbälge mit der Artikelnummer 05-0009 im Programm.

In the sixties and seventies, bellows on front forks were part of the standard repertoire on many motorcycles - from BSA to Honda to Zündapp. They offered protection from dust and road grime and, not least, a classic look. Today, bellows are an indispensable style feature, especially on old school and vintage conversions, but also on cafe racers and "race inspired" conversions. DOCK66 now offers gaiters for Harley-Davidson® models with 39mm forks.
The "gaiters" are made of black, elastic plastic and are attached to the fork with cable ties (included) if required. Supplied is a pair of gaiters.
The gaitors are now made of NBR rubber which is highly resistant against grease and oil and can be cleaned easily because of the smooth surface
The "bobber boots" are for Sportster with standard, as well as Dyna and FXR with 39mm forks. For Sportster Low, Hugger, 48 Forty-Eight, Nighster and lowered custom bikes please check the short fork gaiters with part number 05-0009 in our shop.
They are approx.170mm long, the diameter at the bottom is approx. 59mm, the upper approx. 39mm. Pressed together, the bellows measure approx. 80mm.
