This offering is for a group of three early 20th century packing and or carrying boxes. The boxes came out of the Ozark area of Missouri and are believed to have been used by roadside stands for packing everything from fruits and food to small incidentals. Each box is made of a very thin, possibly birch wood with an off white paper covering. This was folded and stapled into shape and held in place with early wire staples. The lids are bare wood held in place with wire carrying handles or closure. The largest box measures app. 11" X 6" X 4" not counting the handles and the smallest measures app. 7.25" X 3.75" X 2.75".  The conditions are very nice with typical light wear, very minor losses to the paper and scattered soiling. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 16.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
