Offered Here Is A Rare Program From Howard Hughes' Las Vegas Strip Casino Silver Slipper Show "Boy-Lesque" A Live Autograph By Boy-Lesque Star Kenny Kerr 1970's.
*****************************************
I knew Kenny Kerr personally.
My ex-husband and his band did an Elvis tribute show opposite Boy-Lesque at the Silver Slipper in the 70's.
Kenny Kerr signed this for me.
Boy-Lesque was the first female impersonator show on the Las Vegas Blvd.
And what a show it was.
The female impersonators did not lip sync.  It was live singing.
Kenny Kerr was a Las Vegas legend.
His autograph on the cover is bright and intact.
He was the first in Las Vegas to bring drag to the Boulevard.
Kenny Kerr held a drag Halloween Ball on the Boulevard every Halloween.
It was the ticket everybody wanted.
The Halloween Ball became legendary.
Kenny Kerr and the Silver Slipper are now just memories.
Kenny Kerr passed in 2013.
The Silver Slipper was demolished in 1988.
His show played for 11 years in Las Vegas.
Boy-Lesque is definitely a defining piece of Las Vegas history.
