A hand-decorated vase with a bumpy lava like glaze that will stand out in a mid-century décor.
The ceramic vase has been hand potted. You can see the potter’s wheel marks in the interior. It has been hand painted with yellow, green and orange glazes in a very modern pattern. The base is flat and has been covered in a paper or thin shelf liner. The glaze on the exterior is bumpy and lava like. The interior glaze is smooth, tan and has some lighter spots at the mouth.
There is a paper label at the shoulder that reads TOSCANY HAND MADE HAND DECORATED MADE IN ITALY. The silver paper label is in the shape of an artist’s pallet with a paint brush.

8 ¾” (22.2 cm) tall x 4 ½” (11.4 cm) diameter. Weighs 3 lbs 10.9 oz (1670 g)
CONDITION
There are no breaks, cracks, or chips. The paper on the base is peeling. There are spots in the glaze on the inside of the mouth and a few spots near the base where the glaze has worn. Otherwise, the glazes are still fresh and bright.
