Franchin Guitars is based in Vicenza, Italy. With a strong passion for art and music, they create musical instruments and accessories decorated with various techniques. Their creations transform the musical instrument to a work of art through an artisanal, refined, and carefully detailed process. Every piece is unique. Each one is designed and created entirely in Italy, employing selected materials, and it reflects the quality which has always distinguished Italian-made products. Blending interesting design elements such as gold-leaf, hand-painting, and exotic woods with classic inspired designs, every project is developed with the aim of creating a quality instrument that represents the concept of “art and music.”

All of the guitar and bass bodies are entirely handmade in Italy using a selection of the best woods available. Franchin only use bodies built with CNC machines, which guarantee a pinpoint precision and the compatibility with all equipment on the market. The finishing involves the use of specific glues and paints depending on the desired final result. The finishing process utilizes techniques pioneered from art restoration. Indeed, the whole team has artistic training and therefore has a great sensibility for everything that is related to art and colors. The processes are long and complex, but they guarantee a unique finish. All Franchin Guitars are inspired by art, colors and the quality of raw materials. All of this, together with an intense passion, creates unique and quality products.

This guitar is fresh off the Boutique Guitar Showcase tour which features a curated selection of the worlds finest boutique, hand-made instruments. While the guitar is new with full warranty and case, there are some very minor cosmetic blemishes around the top edge of the headstock from traveling the country. The price has been adjusted to reflect these issues. No serious problems, damage or repairs.
