Intricately detailed Capo Di Monte replica porcelain figurine from the 70's depicting a gentle hobo bending down to pat his little dog who stands waiting beside him – inspired by the original Capo Di Monte sculpture “Tramp & Scamp”.
Exceptional craftsmanship went into the creation of this exquisite vintage replica piece.
Signed “Bruno” on the base. (Bruno Merli a master sculptor and artist who worked at several Capo Di Monte porcelain factories over the post war years including King’s and the Tyche factory.)
Missing Capo Di Monte/Made in Italy foil sticker.
Measures approximately 8 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" diameter base.
Evidence of a single repair – where hand is grasping the bag – it appears there was a clean break of the tip of the bag and it was put back together. See last picture. Otherwise no chips, crazing, cracks or other flaws.
