Henry Munyaradzi (Zimbabwe1931-1998) Henry need no introduction, is present worldwide in both private and museums collections. His biography is further listed in Wikipedia.

This is one of his finest works from the mid 90’s carved in local serpentine  locally sourced Shona rock. The sculpture is signed on the base.

The condition of this work is excellent and there are no chips or cracks in this example, a few minor scratches that can be easily removed. Having known him personally he was as simplistic as the minimalistic style he created.

This is a typical Henry signature piece.

When shown in different light conditions this piece makes a spectacular impact.
