David Garcia (Washington, b. 1957) postmodern art blown cobalt blue glass disc with applied colorful glass jewels and etched decoration. Attached to the surface are dimensional, geometric fused various colored glass shapes, many of which are painted with gold.

Color ranges from opaque in the center to dark cobalt blue to translucent cobalt blue to clear cobalt blue toward the edge.

I’m told flat pieces are the most difficult to make, and this size increases the level of difficulty. Could be used as a tabletop piece or placed on the included transparent display stand. The stand will require a separate box. If you don't want the stand, let me know, and I'll refund part of the shipping cost.

Signed D. Garcia and dated 1996 on underside.

Measures approximately 21 in wide x 2 in height.

Well cared for. Nearly flawless. Just a few tiny bubbles in the glass.
