synopsis:
Giant-man: Giant-Man plans to rescue his friend, F.B.I. agent Lee Kearns who has been captured by communists in East Berlin. He refuses to allow the Wasp to tag along because his late-wife was murdered the last time he was in a communist country. Arriving in West Berlin, Giant-Man located Lee with the help of ants. Kearns informs Giant-Man that the communists have developed a weapon that increases the intelligence of apes which could turn them into intelligent weapons to use against the world. Busting Lee out of his prison cell, Giant-Man battles one of these "Beasts of Berlin" in order for them to escape.
Later, Lee brings Giant-Man to the building where the ray is being stored and where the Beasts of Berlin were created. Then Giant-Man storms in and battle an army of the intelligent apes. In that event, he manages to use the weapon on the soldiers, reverting their intelligence to that of apes.
After that, Giant-Man and Lee return safely to America.

Hulk: Our story begins with the Hulk reverting into his alter ego, Bruce Banner. Later at the military rocket base, Banner arrives to continue working on a new robot (which is supposed to study nuclear explosions at close proximity) to ready it for testing the next day. While working through the night, Banner encounters a spy and pursues him as the Hulk. The spy manages to steal the robot away and uses it against the military's might where he emerges victoriously. Proving further of its indestructibility, the spy brings the robot to battle the Hulk where he also won thus causing the Hulk to transform back to Banner. After the robot has left, Banner is taken into questioning by General Ross who suspects Banner's involvement with the spy even as the military pursues the robot. The story ends with Betty trying to console Bruce as his concerns rest on the possible menace the Hulk is to mankind.
