This GRENADE thumper head is mounted on a custom handle, 

made from a kiln dried white ash on my SOUTH BEND lathe. 

Very strong thing, with excellent feel in your hand ... Super strong wood with nice grain......

This hammer is exactly  10.0 oz. total weight 

(says my digital scale :). 

Top to bottom 12 inches long. 

Top is polished so smooth that it looks like as if its melting...
