Photograph Notes: A view from the former Sandy Bay Caravan Park in Porthcawl. The wind turbines seen are situated in � from left to right (north to South) - grid squares SS 84 80, SS 84 79 and SS 84 78. The two taller turbines are the two of Newton Down Wind Farm. Their grid references are SS 8426 7946 and SS 8449 7888. The shorter turbine close to the left hand side of the image is at Parc Stormy energy park, Stormy Down. Its grid reference is SS 8412 8015. Since the picture was taken in 2017, a second turbine, similar in height to the two at Newton Down, has been erected at Parc Stormy. The subject location given below is that of the middle turbine.
