Vintage Ladies Raleigh Silhouette Bicycle.

Excellent example in great condition.

Close to original specification, except for brand new tyres, inner tubes and rim tape.

Period correct brake pads fitted.

Made in England frame and forks with a combination of English, French and Swiss components.

Original groupset, wheels, pearl bar tape, white Weinmann brake lever hoods, white cable outer, bar end and crank arm caps.

Original metallic teal paintwork and original Raleigh decals. The frame and decal condition show some age-related marks, chips and scratches as can be expected on a bike of this age.

The chrome parts on the bike are generally in good condition, except for the front rim which is showing early signs of rust. The Raleigh crank arms still have the original Raleigh decals on and there is an original aluminium pump attached to the frame as well as original gold Esge mudguards. Please see photos as they form part of the description.

I purchased this bicycle in 2016 and it was sympathetically restored for Eroica Britannia 2017. The bike has been stored indoors since then and ridden occasionally. I'm sad to see her go but the bike deserves to be ridden. The ride is enjoyable with centre pull brake levers and flat strapless pedals.

The frame and all components were cleaned and polished. New brake pads were fitted as well as new Schwable Active amber wall tyres inner tubes and period rim tape.

Bike is clean and tidy and ready to ride away. Eroica race ready!
