I'm shipping it from Chicago. If you're in the Midwest, I'm pretty sure it will get to you by Christmas, if ordered by Tuesday, Dec 19. This is a beautiful, early 1900's Royal Saxony Art Plate that has a fantastic image of a dark haired lady wearing a fabulous red and green dress with ivory sleeves and decolletage; she is holding a large vase that is full of flowers. The ornate design going around the edge is a pattern in kelly green/several shades of gold. The background of the lady with the vase is an idyllic scene with a columns and horizon with clouds that seem to be almost the same thing as the clouds.

I have a collection of these fabulous plates that I am selling/or putting up for auction.  This one, on my own personal (subjective) 1 to 10 scale is an 8.5. It has a few scratches, shown in the photos. Also some nicks and dings around the edges, not very noticeable or notable, but present. It has the Royal Saxony logo on the back near the bottom, dating it around 1900. It is also marked No 101 - AUF CAPRI

The collector from whom I got these plates has an entire collection that he is liquidating only part of. So, I have seen a great many of these beautiful plates. This one is now, or was once, truly a gem of an antique.
