• 2 x Premium Grade JJ ECC83 preamp valve (also called 12AX7).
• 1 x Balanced ECC83 for the phase inverter in position V3.

Note: The balanced ECC83 goes in the V3 position which is the preamp valve furthest from your input jack.

We do not recommend using the standard JJ El34 power valve in this amp as it struggles to cope with the power requirement. The upgraded EL34 Mark II was specifically designed for this purpose.

You can order these amplifier valves singly or the power valves as a matched quad but it is always recommended that you change all your valves at the same time if you possibly can.
