About the Laney GH50L amp:

The Laney GH50L is a single channel master volume style head with foot-switchable gain. The Laney GH50L is capable of a huge variety of sounds, from sparkling clean through powerful crunch to full on heavy tones and everything in between. This is a really superb ‘workhorse’ gigging amp which has been designed and built to last. As well as providing amazing tone, these heads offer a valve-coupled effects loop and link jacks for slaving several heads together.

The Laney GH50L features four ECC83 valves in the preamp and a matched quad of EL34 output valves. If you prefer the sound of 5881’s power valves then you can swap out the EL34s for these and re-bias.
