About the Soldano Hot Rod 25

First of all, the Soldano Hot Rod 25 is a 25 watt, two-channel head. It uses 5 x ECC83 and 2 x 6L6GC to produce a gorgeous rich tone. Celebrating a quarter of a century of Soldano amps this amp follows in line with the Hot Rod 50 plus and Hot Rod 100 plus. It features a preamp circuit based on the legendary Soldano 100W Super Lead Overdrive. Due to a filter choke in the power supply and the two 6L6GCs, the Soldano Hot Rod 25 has much tighter bass and punchier low end. Additionally, featuring a valve buffered, post-master volume effects loop.

Perfect for gigging, the Soldano Hot Rod 25 also has effortless channel switch via the foot-switch. A three-band EQ is shared between the two channels for tone shaping along with independent preamp gain and master volume. A rotary impedance selector switch allows for the use of 4, 8 or 16-ohm speaker cabinets.
