Vintage Single Bench
A Coalbrookdale style 'Lily Pad' bench. Inspired by a design by Christopher Dresser (1834 - 1904).
Organic form with ornate patterns, scrolling and motifs. All encapsulating the Victorian taste and fashion for stylising the natural world.
Solid iron foundry casting. Heavy and robust. High quality and all in excellent condition. Ready to use. No repair, improvement or remedial works required.
This bench has been professionally and sensitively refurbished. It has been sand blasted. Removing all of the tired, worn and discoloured later paint surfaces. It has been primed and then top coated with a hard wearing, weather resistant metal paint. All the timbers have all been replaced with new connecting bolts.
This bench would be just as impressive in a hallway, kitchen dinner, conservatory etc as well as in a outdoor setting. Currently displayed under cover.

This is a single-man service with delivery to the ground floor. Larger items will require help. If this is not possible/practical please let us know and we will price accordingly.
They will liaise directly with you to find a date/time which is convenient. They will give a days’ notice and a two to three hour estimated arrival window. They will also give a text/call approx 30 minutes prior to arrival.
All furniture is blanket wrapped, strapped and fully insured during transit.
We also offer collection in person from PL1 (any time by appointment including evenings and weekends).
