- After a lot of research into these, I've determined the touchscreen technology is 3M.
- Contrary to the published specs of the NEC display the screens do support 1080p at 60Hz
- The 4 displays pictures are connected to an Intel NUC, via HDMI, 3 USB to VGA display link dongles and a powererd USB hub.
- Using this configuration we easily could have had all 6 running but our video cables weren't long enough.
- The 3m touch technology can be moved to a newer, better display by a qualified or even competent tech. The intended purpose of these screens was a school or rehab environment, with an MSRP of $9999.99
- We've had success using them with MAME for slot machine mockups, Video games, as part of a video wall or just a nice big display 'because you can'
- We have 6 total available, I'm willing to break these into parts if you're interested in a custom project but would love to have at least some of them used for their intended purpose with a child or young adult who might otherwise not have a chance to access such a device.
These are located in the Detroit Area, we can arrange local setup and delivery and/or a suitable computer system depending on your needs.

-----------
Fine Motor Delays
Students can operate the screen using a finger, assistive device, or reach stick. Larger icons help them select the correct target to make their choices. This helps accommodate their lack of precision and accuracy in directing the mouse pointer, aiding students with involuntary arm movements. The work area is designed to ensure that most students can reach the entire surface.
-----------
Visually Challenged
TAP•it works with any software on your computer allowing teachers, students, and parents to resize text and graphics, adjust brightness or contrast controls, and enlarge images or change background colors within seconds. The low-glare, matte finish display is shadow-free, providing optimal viewing for low-vision users.
-----------
Hearing Impaired
Finger touch input keeps hands free of pen tools that interfere with signing. Interactive media keeps students engaged. They can read from the board and sign at the same time, increasing opportunities for communication between teachers and students.
-----------
Developmental Delays
TAP•it offers ongoing visual reinforcement to complement lessons and improve functional capabilities. While their eye movement increases, students with ASD, ADD, etc., can track content with greater ease. The physical interaction and visual stimulus offers an additional sensory channel to help process information.
