Pair of matching double candle sconces in the Arts & Crafts / Mission style.  These have been gilded then overpainted in red and green.  I think this is the original paint, not a newer repaint.  Candle sleeves are dark cream paper with faux wax drips.  Bobeches have a beaten style popular in the Arts & Crafts / Mission movement.  Light turns on / off by turning center knob.

Dimensions: Each is
12" Tall x 8" Wide x 3" Deep

Condition:  Very Good condition.  Only issues I see are 1) center screws to attach to wall are missing on both, 2) two tassels under candle sleeves appear to be slightly bent inward, and 3) candle sleeves showing age with slight cracking of waxed patina. Wiring appears new / recent (although, please note I am NOT AN ELECTRICIAN).    Electrical plug and wiring are supple and flexible.  Paint and gilding looks good, with age spots on central panels below screw hole.

Combined unpacked weight: 5 pound, 5 oz.

Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.  Please ask me for specific quote if you feel shipping cost is too high.  On certain large / heavy packages, I see EBAY's calculator grossly overcalculates actual shipping costs.   Please note I usually provide at least 2, if not usually 4, shipping options.  Please check to validate which option is best for you.

I only charge actual postage, and always use recycled packing materials.

Note some photos appear redundant because I take photos from all possible angles.  On symmetrical items, these photos may appear redundant when there are no distinguishing differences or condition issues between side views.

I gladly accept returns, but please note I do not pay return postage unless there was a significant error in my description.  The item listed is being sold as is, as pictured and as described to the best of my knowledge.  If you have a question or an assumption on an item prior to purchase, please ask. I much prefer to take the time on the front end to make sure you will be satisfied with your purchase.

Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
