VTG Whimsical Sterling Silver 925 Miniature Candy Wrapper Shape Pill Trinket Box

Beautiful piece of sterling hallmarked silver .925 pill box / trinket box in the

 shape of 'hard candy' or 'wrapped sweets.

This precious English sterling silver pill box is 'sweet' in more ways than one. 

The whimsical design takes on the appearance of wrapped candy complete with a striped

 etched surface and realistic ends which you actually twist to open. 

The closure works well and is tight enough to keep the contents safe whether using 

the pill box as decoration on a vanity or for transport in a handbag. 

Manufactured in the 1990's and hallmarked on the inside. 

Good vintage condition with some surface scratching and tarnished patina. 

Measures approx. 2" from end-to-end x .75" wide x .5" deep.
