Micro-Mesh Abrasive Pads.
These pads come in 6 abrasive grits - 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000. Perfect for nib smoothing or ultimate polishing jobs. Each pad is 2” x 2”. They have the grade printed on the reverse for ease of identification. You receive 1 pad of each grit - 6 Micro-Mesh pads total in the kit.

Micro-Mesh Flexi-Files
Each stick comes with different grits. The Files are - 100MX/150MX, 180MX/240MX, and 400MX/600MX. They can be used in conjunction with the Micro-Mesh pads for nib polishing or smoothing rough spots on your pen or they can be used as a standalone. Great addition to you pen restoration projects. You receive 2 Files in the kit.

Brass Stock
Each are approx. 5cm x 5cm - two thicknesses – 0.01mm and 0.02mm. Use them for flossing (cleaning) the slot between the nib tines of your pen or between the nib and the feed. The edges of these may be sharp and should be handled with care, they can be smoothed over with Micro-Mesh easily to reduce “rough” edges before use, good for initial practice of smoothing. You receive 1 piece of each thickness - 2 total in kit.

Re-usable Cleaning Cloth

A simple cloth with many uses. Can be used to clean in between Micro-Mesh Grades or applying Micro-Gloss.

Micro-Gloss Liquid Abrasive
A water-based liquid abrasive polish. This Micro-Gloss contains a 1 micron abrasive particle and can be used as a finish after the 12000 pad. It can also be used to as a cleaner to keep pens shining.

All Regular Micro-Mesh grades works on a microscopic level with the coarsest abrasive rating of 30 Microns and the Ultra Finest at less than 2 microns. This is the finest abrasive polishing cloth on the market and is ideal for achieving a scratch free finish on many surfaces like Acrylic, Soft Wood, Paint/Coated Surfaces and Soft Metals without the need for purchasing additional products.

All variants of MicroMesh can be hand washed in warm water (a small amount of detergent is recommended), air dried and stored away for use again. Micro-Mesh will outlast conventional abrasives by 10-15 times making it a more cost effective abrasive and polishing tool.
