EXCEPTIONAL OLD HAND CRAFTED SOUTH INDIA TRIBAL STERLING SILVER BANGLE

Presenting an exquisite old hand crafted sterling silver hinged bangle originating from South India.

This exceptional bangle is beautifully adorned with intricate diamond shaped appliques forming ornate bands surrounding the pin clasp. Triangular shaped appliques add a striking decorative element to opposing sides of the hinge. Embossed elements wonderfully detail the design and stylishly trim the edges of the bangle to create a unified piece.

This piece has been hand crafted in hammered sheet silver of an incredibly thick gauge creating a heavy piece which is wonderfully strong and durable.

This old piece has developed a lovely mellow patina from years of handling and wear. Light signs of age including the odd tiny indent and light surface scratches magnificently enhance the charm and character of this authentically vintage example.

SIZE: This bangle measures 16mms wide, measures 58.3mms in diameter and has an internal circumference of 180mms.

WEIGHT: This substantial piece weighs 59.8 grams.

CONDITION: The piece is presented in very good vintage with no breaks. losses or repairs and displays appealing signs of age as described above. The hinge opens and closes smoothly and pin clasp remains in place, functioning as intended. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.

MARKS: This piece is beautifully hallmarked to the interior "925" indicating it has been crafted in sterling grade silver.
