Details: This auction is for the RARE exquisite antique American Art Nouveau bronze and gold vermeil jewelry box, made by the Jennings Brothers in 1902-1915. This fine and impressive bronze and gold vermeil jewel box has a stunning floral, classic Art Nouveau design, it is beautifully footed and adorned with a poppy flower on the lid. The inside of the box displays gorgeous gold vermeil and red velvet.

The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company began in 1891 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and soon became famous for production of fancy art metal goods like jewel boxes, candle sticks, figurative items etc. Their methods were painstakingly detailed. The company continued business into the early 1900s. 

The jewelry boxis marked on the bottom “JB” 1138.

Measurements: Thejewelry box measures approx. 2” tall, 2.25” long across the top of the lid and 1.9” wide across the top of the lid. 

Condition: The antique JB jewelry box is in very good condition with age related wear to the gold vermeil on the outside. The gold vermeil on inside of the lid looks gorgeous. Please see the pictures.
