Antique ancient Indus Valley tan carved stone scripted stamp seal of an Apus or Zebu Bull. Highly micro-weathered surface with impregnated soil residues.
The Indus symbols have yet not been deciphered but it is said by some scholars and linguistic researchers that many of them are almost identical to those found at Easter island and that Mohenjo Daro could have been influenced by settlement by refugees of an Easter Island cataclysm or that if Lemuria actually existed there would have been ongoing contact through trade between those two regions. There are striking similarities between the facial construction of the Easter Island Moai and some of the male statues that are found in Harappa and Mohenjo Daro.
In ancient times seals were used by everyone in everyday life for documents, locks, doors, identification and personal jewelry.
This seal is ~ 1-7/8" L x ~1-3/8" W x ~ 3/4" high. (1" = ~25.4 mm)
