A very pretty ornate antique mustard or
small sauce spoon with an egg shaped bowl, barley twist shaft to the handle and
bright cut decoration to the upper of the terminal as shown in the images.
In good structural condition but there
is some commensurate wear to the cover to the reverse and a couple of dust
sized dots to the rim of the bowl. There is yet quite a lot of the gold wash
apparent to the bowl but one small piece to the front is peeling showing the
lower silvered ‘surface’ beneath. Still displays well for its antique years and
still decidedly fit for purpose.
