Swedish Solid Silver Gold-wash Filigree & Steel Traveling Utensil Set Fork, Knife and Spoon with Red Glass Jewel End Marked for silver by Goran Jerell 1734-1740

Presented is a stunningly elegant solid silver filigree gold wash fork, knife and spoon personal traveling set with marks for silver made in Sweden. These beautiful pieces have great detailed filigree detailing on the handle with a red glass jewel inset in the end and a great gold wash on the for and a the spoon that has an exemplary raised decoration on the back of the spoon. The spoon and the fork both have hallmark of GJ and the steel bladed knife is very sharp and has a hallmark on the blade just above the handle. I believe the silver is marked for silver by Goran Jerell working in the province of Vadstena, Sweden 1734-1740. I have placed a picture of my research in the photos above. They are in stunning condition with no monogram, only some pin-prick dings, some nicks in the blade of the knife, a slightly loose wiggle of the handle of fork, some slight loss of gold wash and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. They are an excellent set for the silver collector with an eye for the finest esthetics of antique rare museum quality silver.
