A wonderful Simon Durand (Swiss, 1838-1896) ink on laid paper study of two children. Matted and framed under glass. Sight measures approx. 7.75"h x 12"l, frame 16.25"h x 20.5"w. In good/fair antique condition, displaying foxing/discoloration, subtle waving, and an edge bend to the laid paper, as well as some visible wear (such as darkening or small losses) to the frame - see pictures. Not examined out of frame. Signature to drawing's lower right corner, where there is also a possible collector's mark.
