The item has a hinged lid. The item is antique (see photos). The item is from a nice estate (see photos). The item is not marked by a maker (see photos and determine the age and the maker). The painting looks to me to be from the US and to be American in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item has some scuffs, some paint and finish losses and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). The item easures about inches high, it is about inches from the front edge to the back side and it is about inches wide (measurements to be added later).
