Ce contrôleur matriciel MIDI est le nouveau produit phare de la série Launchpad de Novation.

C'est le contrôleur à pads de Novation le plus puissant pour faire de la musique dans Ableton Live et avec des équipements matériels. Il offre tout le nécessaire pour créer et jouer des morceaux. Avec le Launchpad Pro MK3, Novation propose l'intégration à Ableton Live la plus poussée à ce jour.

Ce Launchpad est livré avec son propre adaptateur USB-C, ce qui le différencie des anciens Launchpads qui se branchaient sur ordinateur. Cette version MK3 est donc une station de travail de séquençage autonome. Il s'agit d'un séquenceur polyphonique autonome de huit notes, 32 pas et quatre pistes et dispose de connexions MIDI IN, Out et Out 2/Thru pour tout contrôler (équipement ou logiciels).

Néanmoins, les version antérieures à Ableton 10 ne donne pas accès à l'ensemble des fonctionnalités du Launchpad Pro MK3. La version MK3 fonctionne naturellement aussi comme un contrôleur MIDI standard.
