Les BX4D3 sont des enceintes de monitoring compactes, descendantes des BX5 et BX8. Elles offrent le nec plus ultra de la technologie actuelle, à un tarif des plus abordables. Son haut-parleur de 4,5" en Kevlar noir de qualité militaire et son tweeter de 1" à dôme de soie naturelle dont la conception a été optimisée par ordinateur mettent à disposition 120 watts d'un son cristallin. Sa conception bass-reflex, avec un évent arrière et un caisson en MDF acoustiquement neutre, assure une réponse étendue dans les basses fréquences et une réponse en fréquences sur l'ensemble du spectre.

Les BX4D3 présente une interface de contrôle intelligemment étudiée au dos de l’enceinte, pour permettre à chacun de régler le son selon le type d'espace et d'application, et de connecter n’importe quel ordinateur, appareil mobile ou système multimédia. Les paramètres d’égalisation High et Low permettent d’ajuster idéalement le rendu sonore pour chaque environnement d’écoute tandis que le commutateur de position du haut-parleur actif permet de régler son positionnement, entre la droite et la gauche. Les connexions au dos de l’enceinte comprennent une entrée jack, minijack et RCA. De plus, les BX4D3 présentent une entrée auxiliaire et casque au format minijack en façade pour tablette, ordinateur ou appareil mobile, offrant une compatibilité maximale.
